My service manual says 14-21 PSI. I think 15 is the correct pressure for the yellow ones. Nice looking bike BTW>

Hey Sidewinder

Thanks for the info, good to know that 15 psi is on the "safe" side, especially for the yellow ones, lol! Question for you - does your rear wheel match the front? I've always liked those types of Honda mag wheels, and would much prefer those on my 'Wing than what I have now (MUCH easier to keep clean). What years were those wheels available for the 'Wings?

Thanks

I took the seat off mine so a friend could try it on his 83 Interstate. We think the previous owner too a lot of the foam out to reduce the height on his bike so it's not too comfortable.

Not a lot for the last two weeks, a little plastic repair on "Suzy Q's" refresh and mod job, a little dismantleing of "Atilla the Hun",(wrecked 84-I), removing all the damage from the wreck. Looks like it could be another week before I can get some serious work started again.

been trying to get some crud off the rear seat, have been putting a rag soaked with WD -40 on it to try and loosen it up, Goo B Gone just does not seem to work to good on it :heat: :heat: :heat:

i walked by my wing with the lawnmower then i walked by my wing with the leaf blower then i walked by my wing with a broom and shovel in my hands then i walked by my wing while pulling the garbage can. then i walked by my wing a few more times while putting all that stuff back in the garage

went and got a 7v regulater off a 76 and went to put it on miss daisy and when i opened her up on reg.on the side. where could it be? i say. so finnally i look in the tech references and this one doesn't even look the same and has different ends.and is connected to my gauges under there.so now i got to think of how to make it work until i find the right one..

Did nothing to the bike today but did stop and pick up the Kuryakyn ISO grips that I had ordered last week, will see about getting them on on Sat. :music: :music: :music:

Took her out for a spin the day before yesterday and was scooting down the road - for some reason I looked down and grabbed my side cover just as it was blowing off!! :yahoo: :rocks: :heat: :heat: I sell these darn things for $200 each and I do not have a spare !!! :heat: :heat: looked at it today and realised when I was working on the wires last week I left some untucked and they were applying pressure on the side cover - fixed that and looks like the cover is going to stay alright now (the gromlets were changed recently) .. So off I went for another spin (got a nice ride in before the rain starts tomorrow). But now I am looking at the bike and I need new tires!! I now have an Italian Racing tire on the back (Baldini) so tomorrows mission is to find a set of Dunlop Elite 3's. :moped: :moped:

Next it's time to see if it will run, if I could just remember where I saw that thread about hot wiring one of these heifers. :Awe: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

I managed to get both the front and rear tires mounted, yesterday and today. And went for a ride too! :moped: :yahoo:

:builder: i changed the oil and filter, and she was running a little funky so i got to looking around and found that one of the plastic pieces on the top of the number three carb was about gone.so now i got to take it apart and see if i can get it running agian. :head bang: i think i'm going to need a grimlin bell the size of the liberty bell. i also noticed a sideways crack on my front tire.

Took a nice ride along Niagara Parkway From Fort Erie through the Falls and on to Niagara on The Lake. Leaves are starting to turn and (most) the tourists are gone. If they were to increase the speed (or stop monitoring it so close) that would be a great bike route.
