I need to replace the M/C reservoir. How does it come off ? Parts fiche does'nt show any screws inside the cup,or from the bottom. Does the whole cup unscrew ? I dont want to destroy it. Thanks

I had the same thing. Took em off and sanded em down.

If you had the rear end cranked down hard while transporting,maybe the seals have given out. Thats what happened on mine. Not hard to replace. I could'nt afford new shocks.

I bought an 80 rack so I could replace the # 4 on my 82. Surprise,the #4 mixture screw tower is broken. just make sure you have ALL the gaskets before starting the water pump job. The carbs,well,you'll just have to see for yourself. They can be a bitch to get out,when I bought my Aspencade,it looks as though the po had fiddled with em for quite a while. The water tubes,fuel tank and heat shield...

I changed the seals,mine too had very little oil in em. Anyway,Changed the seals and they hold air for about 5 mins. Damn. One was missing the "spring clip" for the guide bushing.I asked the question earlier but nobody replied. Think that they would leak air without it ?
