My 82 GL1100I is dripping antifreeze from the pictured hole located at the bottom left side toward the front of the motor while it’s running. Any ideas as to what the cause might be?

You have to follow the leak upward. That is just the point of the drip (meaning at the bolt). Look around and see where the coolant is coming from (Higher up).

I can’t see any leaks outside of the motor so I’m going with the probable water pump leak. Thanks, all.

Don't forget to do the timing belts and radiator hoses at the same time. Radiator hose is $10, timing belts are under $30 for two Gates belts online.

Water pumps have a weep hole somewhere to do just this, so you get a "warning" before the bearings fall apart and implode, or worse, contaminate the oil with A-Freeze while humming down the road! -Graves-

All great advice and info, thanks. Since this bike was sitting for 17 years it’s best to do it right the first time so I’ll swap out the pump, belts and hoses.
