From the description, I'd say it HAS to be a blown fuse or loose connection. NO power to anything at all leads me to suspect a bad power OR ground connection. The real problem is WHERE might that connection be? The main fuse on the 1500 is Huge....and no mistaking if it is blown...it would be obvious to anyone. It might not be a bad idea to get a screwdriver and loosen/tighten the two screws holding that fuse in, just to be sure it's making contact on both ends. There is also another fuse(blade style, 30 amp) right behind the main fuse, on the starter solenoid. I'd have to look to see what it is for, but it's easy enough to check to see if it is bad.
Could be something with the fuse box on the left side too, so need to check those fuses.
I know the one time my 1100 did the exact same thing it was the main fuse, even tho it LOOKED fine.
