yes sir, getting close.....and the clutch is better now than prior to pulling the motor. All the same parts.

yea, I was feeling great and stupid (lol) at the same time. great because it was only the shifter hitting the exhaust and stupid because, it was only the shifter hitting the exhaust. lol

I had to wait for EXHAUST to cool down. The shifter was barely hitting the chrome cover that on my exhaust pipe...I pulled it off, turned it about 15 degrees and that when the magic happened.....FIRST GEAR WAS REBORN!!! LOL

yes sir, all 5 working now. next is the carbs, I can really use your help with those.

She has a clanking that I think is the carbs or fuel/air mixture. I'll double check my valve adjustments. Then get the carbs worked. Well, get them worked enough that I can ride a little for the next 2 weeks before I head back to Louisiana.

That would be great. I'll just be putting the last few things back on the bike and cleaning it up. Just let me know when it's a good time for you.
