Great stuff Randy :good:
 good grief, I was thinking about that. My front rotors are like new, but the rear has some wear and a slight ridge, so I was thinking about replacing it and doing the pads at the same time.":3fhf0qya]
let me know when you are ready to change rear brake pads if you haven't done them yet
once you get the rotor and brake pads take the lower trim piece off the trunk and remove the seat and side cover. remove the lower left corner of the left saddle bag. get a large towel or a blanket and place it just behind the left saddle bag then disconnect the cable that opens the saddle bag. remove the saddlebag and swing it around back and set it on the towel or blanket, from there you can change the brake pads if you are removing the wheel then I think both saddlebags will have to be removed and the wiring for the lights disconnected":21nx6v3s]

William, you know we're severely outnumbered here. You might want to say moved "down" to a 1500 wing.":2urrinwz]
good job randy, see it wasn't a hard job. the problem is the high output alternator is bigger then the stock one and takes a little wiggling to get it to align. I wasn't going to post about my experience when my alternator went out but thought of you and others that moved up to a 1500 wing. let me know when you are ready to change rear brake pads if you haven't done them yet
I still haven't gotten over that Smurf Wing comment. :crying:":36radzo9]

I've been out numbered since I joined the forum, I've always had a 1200 and 1500 wing and that goes back to when this was an 1100 wing forum":1rru8rw3]
