Decided the incandescent bulbs gotta go...
After shopping around and finding nothing better than replacement bulbs,
I decided to build my own!

4 rows of LEDs. Row 3 is running lights, which flash inversely with the other rows as turn signals... Stay tuned for the rear signals and brake light!

...

Do you have a step by step with pics?

Yeah! What he said! I have a few extra turn signal housings laying around, and it may be time to try something like that.

I unfortunately do not... I started the project before stumbling upon this forum.
I think that I still need to glue one of the front lenses together, so I can show you the inside.
The rears are done, but I don't have night pics yet. I can do a step by step when I do the taillight...
If you have an extra set, I have plenty of LEDs... I wouldn't mind setting them up for you... maybe you also have an extra set of those mudflap doo-hickeys that you can see are broken on my bike??

I wouldn't mind trading for some mudflaps!
Do you live somewhere that parks the bike for a while in winter? I can do them in a weekend, but round trip shipping might make this a two week ordeal.
I'll do a pair of your lights, and do a step by step so you can do the others... or I can do them all.

Hmmm.... maybe I should do a DIY ebay kit?

The only tricky part that I kind of take for granted is that there is some soldering involved... not everyone has the tools, or the patience! :smilie_happy:

The easiest way I think is to buy 12v leds, I got loads for a few pounds from Flea bay go here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/9V-12V-LED-3m ... ddekU9uDFg for an example. The advantage is you can buy them in varying sizes from 3mm to 10mm and in set colours. I am not an electronics guru no where near, I think I could hold a screwdriver for a Guru but that would be the limit, I am sure you can get dual leds like they use on cars from say white to yellow or orange but I haven't found any yet you can buy loose.

That looks nice!

I'm interested.
I'll check in the morning for both mud flaps.

A detailed how-to would be great too.
I have only the one good right side mud flap, left side is broken.
Pm me if interested.
