I've thought about making an intake system using copper too. The nice thing about copper is that it is a very good conductor of heat. So the whole intake would get nice and warm just from being bolted to the heads. Maybe no need for complicated/expensive coolant warming system for plenum.

And it's easy to solder.

two very good points brian ....i like the way its easy to work with .... but i also am aware also its soft and wont take much abuse....but if done and supported well should work great....

I think it would be a lot stronger than PVC though. :yes:
