Ask and you shall receive :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: , thank you so very much Bob...Hey, why is your name badorderbob..  :smilie_happy: You are most helpful Bob..

I get it...Let's let it go... :clapping: Let's turn the page... :clapping: the future will be brighter... :Egyptian: so who has gotten themselves a set of lights for their bike? Or any add on's...

That's a 3 groove at that link.
I ended up with a 5 groove because that's what the shop had in his parts barrel but it so happened it works out good to help align the belt better since you can use the inner or outer grooves.

Just a thought.

Oh, no kidding, I never even thought of that, so what you are say is this, if I have a four groove belt pulley I can use a 3 groove belt on it, just not use the last groove, I do think that's a little silly but it sure would save a guy from buying himself a new pulley now wouldn't it, I would have thought that the sides would keep it contained but if the rib is down in the groove then how could it go anywhere,,,I'm so happy you mentioned this..This is great information.. Dan, Macbeaver is feeling a little Macstupid right now ha ha ...Maybe I really am a silly rabbit... :smilie_happy: :music: :builder: Now then, Mr. MacBeaver has thought of a way to make a adjustment for in or out on the alignment, I find this mod. to be most helpful because man it's lined up good..Joe said it was good. :clapping: .But Joe said... :clapping: :clapping: :Egyptian: No I'm not drinking Koolaid

Hay Guys, I also came across a 1.97 pulley with a 15mm bore but what I was after was a 2 to 1 ratio and the 1.75mm was just the right one for me running Dan's Pr.-Boy 3.5 pulley. And by the way 100 miles has passed and she's still doin great charging :eek:k: !!! Ok the Name Badorderbob was a nic name I was dubbed on the RR!! 33 yrs of it!! I was a Carman on the N&S RR., worked in the yards as an Inspector that would shop defective cars to the repair shop to be fixed. And to reconginize one you had to put an Orange Tag on the car ( 4"x 7" tag ) so the switch crew could set them out of the cars after I worked /inspected them!! That Orange Tag welded a lot of Power :smilie_happy: ,... OK now for about 11 years I worked second and here's the Kicker,... I'd do my darnest to shop 1,000 B/O's each year and did rightly so! I was doing my job, Company Bosses hated me because they had to put on more jobs and in doing so had to hire more men :Egyptian: !!! That's what happens when you do your Job the Right Way :rtfm: , instead of doing it their / another way!! So comes the name B. O. B.,... my name is Bob + Badorder, thus I was SO Proudly Named,....... badorderbob!!!! :thank_you: :thank_you: I came to just use it because of my Great reputation of B/O ing so many cars in those 11 yrs. were about 10,000 shopped cars on the RR. And I did keep the records to prove it,.. took me a good 2 days just to tally up the numbers!! :whistling: Sure brings back memories :crying: :headscratch: ,..........Yeah Right :sensored: !!!!! Later,.. :hi: Bob

Thanks Dan for the Link!! Also when ya get on the page, just scroll down and you'll find the 1.75 pulley!! :hi: Bob

Really a neat story..2 to 1 ratio is what were are looking for...4" to 2 " is perfect Actually my pulley off the prelude is 4 5/8" outside dim. but I'm sure 4" will be good too.
