How sweet it is indeed!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: Looking gud, Beave! :good:

I used the original hoses, ended up cutting off 1/2" on the bottom one with the Big Block Chevy spacer that Ohio Bill posted, perfect fit, you have to find yourself new longer bolts with that spacer and use silicon gasket sealer too.... I made myself a spacer that was 1 1/8" at the bottom of the rad... [1/2" aluminum dowel rod with thread holes and a bolt inserted and set on one side and a threaded receiver hole on the other side..Once these are screwed in, I then unscrewed it a little and tapped it up with a hammer to get the correct angle for the bolt to line up..If you don't do this it will never line up..

thanks guy's, I like showing my stuff on video.. That way nobody can say I tell the tall tales..aahhhhh Hey, I was just thinking guy's...[dangerous I know] no really, I was thinking you know that fan bracket I made, If a guy used that system they would never have to cut up their shroud.. So if they ever went back to the stator later there shroud won't be damaged..

What I did was I read Dan's post and Todd's post and Poorboy's post years ago, I considered their ideas and I just try getting the job done without much headache.. Hey guy's with that Regulator Rectifier gone or not on the bike anymore the bike seems way cooler now..

I can make you guys a spacer for a small fee, here's what they would look like, now these are for the radiator gap at the bottom..Now these measurements can vary, so it would be best to request what size you would need.. Or not...

I thought the bike gave you a big headache for two days??? Is that not much of a headache?

I took a wack on that day for sure.. Wilcoy, I took the bike out today, she did very well, put her on the highway and gunned it..the front wheel came off the road in 3rd and 4th and 5th she was going man..  :whistling: :nea: just kidding, she was going mitty fast though..she past the abuse test, I had to be a little rough to see if she would hold up and she did well. :good: I was also testing my new windshield out and it's really nice it also passed my test with flying colors..

Yeh, I debated for a long time whether or not to do this mod. I thought about it, if your conversion mod were to fail while being on the road all you would have to do is plug in your working stator[RR] and your good, there's nothing like having a back up plan..but I'm be up a creek if that happened because my stator is not working proper..I paid like $40 to get a spacer for the waterpump, I sold the other one and gaskets for $20 so it's really only $20 for the spacer..Someone will want one..

I was thinking I have two wings and when I do it both will get the mod so I can get a set myself and I can wait till the other bike comes home to see what it is like. PS I still would like four of those spacers for the rad
well, your two sets or pairs of spacer's are now on route to you. I just hope you haven't moved..

Auto parts store they come two to a package.
what auto store? are they threaded 6mm 1.0 pitch and do they have a 6mm bolt fastened to one end? All ready to screw in ? And what length do they come in..How much are these spacers..do you have a number for this information, Wilcoy, why have you withheld this from us... :Doh2:   :hihihi: :hihihi: will you please spane ... :smilie_happy: :Egyptian:

I figured everyone has read the other threads on this forum about these conversions.

Jegs sells the package for $40.00. You need to get bolts that fit the holes for the water /rad fitting. I want to say they were 10's but not certain. The bolts I took from the rad connection I used to get the correct threads
and placed it alongside this spacer and rad connection to see the length I needed. Then I used black gasket sealer in between the spacer and rad connection. No they are not threaded. Just a smooth space. This is where little beaver MUST tell how he bent them up.

I had posted earlier about the need for a spacer between the radiator and the motor due to moving the bottom of the radiator out to clear the crankshaft pulley. I visited Jegs and they were able to find a spacer that is almost a perfect match. It is a spacer for a big block Chevey water pump. Two in the package. You need to trim about a 1/2" from the radiator hose.

I just figured (That is what happens when a state worker thinks) everyone had read this whole board from front to back. Ohio Bill told us about it on another thread sometime ago.
