I wonder how those soft-tops for sports cars are made of what material?
They sure go like 100MPH. Soft-top must come down also when you do that?

I guess I am okay here because I intend to use soft-top in the rain only and I won't go that fast in that kind of weather.

Okay, the result of this weekend's effort (or struggle LOL).

I like WWII fighter like cockpit view.
Overall appearance ... well what can I expect. This is ODD BIKE after all.

Anyway, I should also attempt 4 corners trip with this one! LOL

Oh my I just love it ....this will be like wearing a six gun set up and walking the streets ..even though it’s legal the cops are going to be on you like stink on crap LOL....I JUST LOVE YOUR WORK EVER SINCE THE FIRST DAY I SEEN THE LEANER YOU MADE .....

This is a great thread. Big Sur next spring, let me know. Have a choice of bikes to use.

Thinking that as long as the roof is level and not pronounced so the wind hits it hard, you should be good to go. Agree with the pilot cockpit look, classic.

I will.

The roof looks to have 20 degree or so slope.
I can make it level if I give up the passenger space. (Maybe I should make roof angle adjustable for solo and tandem rides.)
Now I am thinking about permanent roof by thin polycarbonate.
It will be half foldable lengthwise on both sides. When unfolded, they will become eaves for more rain protection.

Cops here don’t care what you do. My son rides with no mirrors or license plate. Never been stopped.

:hihihi:

Well it looks rather good ...but it fit sure could be more airo in design and more glued to the road for safety ....of course it gets good mpg it is a bike that cuts wind better ...very neat ...I’m thinking one day I’d like to have cam am ..striker ..if they ever get priced right to own one

That CamAm doesn't lean, does it?
If I go with reverse trike, I prefer Yamaha Niken (two swords in japanese). Although it too is prohibitively expensive.

The problem of having two wheels that close together beside each other up front is a death trap it seems to me ....be much better in the back ....no lean on striker type but I like low to the ground sports car like things ...

There's one at the local Yamaha dealer, looks neat, didn't pay a lot of attention to it at the time.

Found this on YouTube.
Modern day Quaser I guess. It's fully covered and will have better gas mileage than ordinary motorcycles.

Neat ride, but about $62k puts it way out of my range  and I'd probably have to go through a DOT process to get it on the road.

Yes, way too expensive.
Curious to see riders were not wearing helmets. Are they classified as cars in UK?
(I remember trikes are classified as cars thus helmets are not mandatory somewhere. Forgot it's US or Japan.)

I wonder why major motorcycle manufacturers don't make these. That should bring the price down. They don't think it will sell?
(I guess in Japan ubiquitous 660cc engined "Kei" (light-weight) cars are popular and more practical. So probably not a huge market especially for shrinking rider population.)
