I don't think I'd trust a suction cup on a bike. If it falls in the car, no big deal - on the bike...d'oh!!!

Atm with the new defender case on the iphone5s it has slipped out of the fingers, most of that I believe is caused by my dodgy mount made up of the old cb radio brackets. I always have it plugged into a USB lead so that stops it from falling off. I love these mounts and have them on the 2 Foresters and the Rats Nest. The suction cup is huge and has a really firm sliding lock/sucking mechanism.

Maybe a safety cable tie around the bracket and the headlight adjuster knob just to be safe.

If you get bored take a look at all the skid marks on the pavement and retaining wall. I ride this stretch of highway everyday for now.

Well I'm going to see about one of the many iphone cradles that use suction cups.
Thing is I've tried a couple gps suction cups to windshield and they fall loose.

My radar defector fell off the bike several times using just the suction cups on the windershield.....I made a bracket that velcros to the top of the stereo housing, and fits up under the defector, with velcro on that too. It holds most of the weight off of the suction cups. It hasn't fallen off since. :good:

I sent someone here pics of it a while back....I can post if anyone is interested. Don't see why ya couldn't rig a similar set-up to hold a camera, or even a phone.

Did you catch the report on the radio at the begining of the video? It's kinda ridiculous how many die here, but most are alcohol/drug related, in other words their own fault.

That's like 5am Sunday morning traffic in L.A :smilie_happy:

I think I saw a little bit of that LA traffic last year as well :smilie_happy:

We headed off to The Dugandan Pub (point 7)for a few cold ales and a steak sandwich and chips. Five riders with one pillion passenger 2014 Aprilla Caponord, 2011 Yamaha Versys ( with pillion), 2009 Buell 1125a, 99 Honda CBR 929 and the 81 Rats Nest.
The Kawasaki left us and the four of us went past Maroon Dam on the way back to Rathdowny Pub for some more Amber sustenance. After that it was a trip back through Beaudesert to home where I decided to head up the road and refuel the Rats Nest before returning home.
195 klms on Road Tripper
127 miles on the odometer with the trip to the servo
I used as much of the tyres as I could with my mate Brad on the Aprilla saying that he needed welding goggles for the Sparks from the center stand scaping when I was leading

Waiting for new old ones from Steve83 as my springs have sagged. I have been running 60 psi since I first rode it in August 2013.

160 mile ride with my son this morning.
Beautiful day started out in the 60's, warmed up to low 80's.

First stop....

That's my son Brent in his 2009 Honda Civic SI.

That's about it. Good day and ride.

Burned through just about a tank today 2 up with my daughter.
I think this was her second time ever riding with me more than just around the block.

And first time riding with her boyfriend, Alex on his Sporster.

Weather was nice, overcast in the high 60's.

We went up Topanga Cyn to Mulholland. Followed that all the way to PCH.
Went the wrong way on PCH, turned around and went to Neptunes Net, a VERY popular biker eats.
