The Bagdad Cafe is a movie that was filmed in 1988 at Newberry Springs out in the Mojave Desert. Well yesterday I needed to clear my head and go for a ride and that's where I ended up. The Cafe looks the same as it did in the movie no changes. It was a great ride out on Route 66 good weather light traffic.
Here are some pictures
The Trailer was in the movie it is where Jack Palance lived.

Here are some Bottle Trees or Bottle Art not sure what to call them but I had to pull over and take a picture. It's in Ore Grande on Route 66.

I bet the food there was pretty pricey

The prices where fair I had a ham and cheese omelet and it was like $7 and the food is OK. But the owner and the people that work there are great. There where four couples from France that where riding Harley's and the guy working there there let them go behind the counter and take pictures. I guess the film was real popular in Europe so I guess a lot of tourist just stop in to look around, the inside looks just like it did in the film.
