I've got an 82' GL100i with just over 34K miles. Can someone recommend the correct mileage for changing the Timing Belt before it actually goes bad?
That's where I bought the belts for my 1000. Great price (plus free shipping if you or a family member have Prime), and a surprising amount of maintenance parts for oldwings.furyfan2":2r49schn said:They say 10 years or 10,000 miles. I just replaced the belts on my '82 Naked Wing. I purchased cam belts from Gates on Amazon.com for $14.00 each. They are Great !!!

10 years and 10K seems extreme. I was thinking 5 year 30K maybe even 40K.
