Tools for lifting and supporting Gold Wings

When building my Kawasaki I had the luxury of a garage with a big support beam to attach a come along to but now I'm working out of a portable garage made with 2x4s. I'm thinking about this $130 Harbor Freight transmission jack for dropping the GL1200 engine and raising the bike for fork and rear suspension work. Any thoughts on that and maybe some pics or links to what you do and use? The GW is a big big bike.

I used a plain old roll around floor jack though that HF jack looks pretty good.

I used two pairs of doubled 2x4s screwed together and screwed to a Harbor Freight furniture dolly. Ratchet strapped (no matter what you use) the engine to it and took the frame off of the engine.

I do most of my work on the centerstand, with a small jack under the front engine mount bolts to lift the front wheel. But I do use that HF style of roll-around jack to pull the engine. Fortunately I have a smooth concrete floor to work on.
