Waiting for some more polish. so need to wet and dry them down to 3000 first then I think I will have the rocker covers chromed. I get my wheels back Thursday £130 to prep, powder coat and polish. They had better be good for that money.

See next post too......

In my ebay searches I've seen a lot of carbs that look like those and most are in the $300 range.

Remember the French chap he put me onto them. The look very good quality castings and machining.

I got mine from Aliexpress, I buy quite a lot of stuff from there. Always had a good price for what I was buying. I wouldn't buy a helmet from there, maybe body armour to wear while riding.

So all i need now is a pair of manifolds from Randak.

Yup. each one is a twin choke so effectively 4 carbs :lust: :salute:

I got my new, umm... trunk for the 1200 to use when going on the road.

There is a full-face helmet inside that bag and I can turn the bars from stop to stop with it there. I just have to figure out the best way to strap it down.

Similar to what I use. One strap around front of tank/frame to the front of bag, second strap around frame under seat. It's never gone anywhere, the one I have has quick couplings between bag & straps. So just undo 3 clips & take it away

That's gotta be inconvenient when it's time for gas. They finally got the tires and brakes on my new baby. Wonderful ride home!

The straps stay on the bike and the bag attaches to the straps with a post and grommet attachment system:

That's why I need to find a better way of routing the straps. I still need to get the fuel door open and when it is sitting correctly, the strap is right over the door.
