Got off from work and went for a 120 mile ride and went no where! When I got home, there was a big box of stuff marked Genuine Honda Parts at my door. Western Honda comes through again.
+1 :good:

I added something else to the 1200... A Boss MC500

It should look good hiding behind a Ghost when it gets here.

That looks very similar in shape to the windshield I put on mine.

No mine didn't come with lowers on it. Only two bar mounting points on mine. Two L bars mount at the windshield in four places but just two bars to two clamps on the bars. Looks flimsy but is very sturdy.

Well I wasn't going to buy anything for the bike for a while but then I found these...[emoji9]

I noticed those too, not sure if they need a longer valve cover bolt..they seem to bolt to the 2 top valve cover bolts but the bolts have a shoulder that bottoms out so not sure how they were intended to be mounted.

hmmmm.....that dont sound that great ....

That's why I never kept the set that I have installed. I just didn't feel confident with the number of threads holding the top two valve cover bolts in any longer.

Giving it some thought the way to mount them would be to add washers/shims to the threads of the 2 top bolts the same thickness as the footrest tang, that way you would be able to see how much thread you have and would still bottom out like they are supposed to do...just need to be careful not to drop them while mounting the cover.

I FINALLY rewired the tail & turn assembly. I was waiting for decent weather. It was a pain due to the PO's butcher job but now it's nice and clean. There's only about 3" of the original harness left from the connector under the seat.

What did I do?
Walked by the Wing on the way to the truck and thought see ya later when it cools down to the upper 90's.
