Installed a nice new handlebar clock!

I got tired of always having a low battery, so I charged it up and put on my tender I bought a couple of years ago.

Finished up the rear shock install and washed it. It is now heaps easier to get the Rats Nest onto the centre stand even without a block of wood under the rear tire. :good:
Grounded the low air in the rear suspension light as per Gerry's instruction. We are having a bit of rain ATM so I am anxious for a test ride of my new old rear shocks.

lol brian ....i did small things to hooch ..but one was big in power ...put hooches throttle to where i can get all it has in one twist ...there was certainly more power to be had ...also working with mirror mounting positions

Borrowed some gas from the bike to put in the Jeep on I40. I guess my jeep uses more gas when pulling a trailer.

:smilie_happy: good guess! :smilie_happy:

The worst part... I was at the exit ramp and could see my gas station where I ran out of gas. I only needed 1 Pepsi bottle full of gas to get me there.

Taking my son to Texas. When my Jeep gets to Texas, it becomes his Jeep and I need to get home... so the bike is in the trailer with all of his stuff. I am taking 8 days to get home, so it should be a great ride. I tried to talk my wife into riding along, but she is allergic to heat and wants nothing to do with the ride.

Finally had the time to change the timing belts. The Wing has 38,541 on the odometer and when I got it opened up I found these. Look's like originals to me but who know's. I also took the time and set the clearance on the valves. Added some ATF (for the first time- after reading all the threads) to a fresh tank of fuel.

Took it for a short 20 mile ride and wow what a difference!!

The fun starts... riding without worrying that an old belt may break. Enjoy!

I'm going out shortly to see if the wing is still in the cycle shelter, I rode the mighty ST 1300 up to welland, on Saturday morning then over to niagra falls on the Canadian side. sunday I went over to st. Catherine's. I left welland ( got family there ) this morning for niagra, ny. then ran I-90 to I-80, made it home at 17:00

Yet the old ones almost always look like new or at the very least very serviceable.
