Put about 100 miles on it as a shakedown to help decide what I should do on it before the Vegas meet.
:yahoo:

Ya know I'm planning to meet ya and whoever else in Barstow so I get some highway miles in too.

Yup, cool.

Saw all the scratches on the windshield with the sun and startet polishing to see through again. I am tall and see over the shield, don't need it but it must be done. At the time i startet polishing the backside i notified something like a plastic coat getting down in parts. Didn't know about it, the other side it's normal and the work easier. Last winter i had to polish the clock and the radio display, they were milky, now i see the numbers again.

Got the frame stripped down to a rolling frame. Cleaned the frame, pulled the centerstand and mounted the new trailer hitch for fit (Fits great!)

Ready to crop and weld the new centerstand cross brace! (If only I had a welder!) :hihihi:

Replaced the HID kit that was playing up ( cheap one ) with the battery feed type that I prefer. Used ignition feed instead of battery as I need to remove the windjammer and sort out the wiring properly. Looks like there is 2 spare circuits and neither is a battery feed. On the list of jobs to do, atm it is more important to be able to ride. Should use the CBR more but I am enjoying the Rats Nest ( heaps more storage ) and hopefully it is slowing me down a bit  :moped:

Got my fairing pretty much buttoned up, now on to the rear of the bike where there is just as much to do.

Rode Suzy to the store 3 miles down the road to get a loaf of bread. Got home an hour later/50 miles, forgot the bread, had to go back to get it.
Classic!

Just another excuse for an additional ride " oh I forgot the bread", good one Mike! :smilie_happy:
