Changed the plugs in my explorer finally after removing the heater core line and the alternator to get at the plug wires because I wanted to change them too...
I don't think the spark plugs have been changed in well over a decade.

Great coil to jump that gap.
I have to do my van, 110, 000 on the stock plugs.

I gimped over to JW's house and helped him take the last few parts off of my XL 70 so they can be painted. we took what was left to the carwash and power washed it then later in the evening he decided to put the new lifan 125 motor between the pipes

On Friday, swapped the tires on one of my wife's bikes. Spoked wheels, so tire + tubes.

On airing up the front, the tire wasn't seating correctly. I realized a bit of the tube was stuck under the bead by the valve. Removed the air, lifted the bead with a tire iron, and pushed the tube back in. Aired it back up.

On Saturday, went out, and the front tire was flat. Ran over to the motorcycle store, picked up a new tube, and swapped it out. Afterwards I was looking at the old tube and I couldn't see where I damaged it. So I put some air in it and put it in the bathtube.

Result: The tube was leaking slightly at the valve stem. Two seconds with a valve stem tool fixed it.

*sigh* Well, at least we have an extra tube.

Sunday 1:35 AM. I fixed up my coffee maker to be ready for when I awake later today. 1:40 AM I smell coffee brewing and have to cut it off because I went one step too far

So, I did end up staying up until 6:00 AM watching a great movie, again, tossed in bed till 8:00 AM walked & fed the 4-legged, RE-started the coffee, drank 1 tankard (about 4 cups) and fell asleep at 10:00 AM. I just awoke 15 minutes ago to apparently repeat the same process :help: I had meant to be out on 2 wheels for breakfast, and back by now........I'm blaming it on DST :whistling:

Went to church, had a nice bowl of spaghetti with marinara sauce for lunch. Went home and laid the 1800 on its side and pulled the rear wheel and car tire off, replacing it with a D250 on a spare wheel. A new Pirelli Snow Control goes on it next. Watched a NASCAR race on a road course.

lisa and I rode down to Anderson, IN. to drop off a bed for her daughter. they were going to rent a truck but I figured everything would fit in my tintop and it would only cost gas money. we had to drive out to battle creak, mi. to pick up everything. I got really bored with just the am / fm / cd player in my van so today I got the satellite radio wired up and the mount for the GPS installed but couldn't find my MP3 player

Well, you drove right past my home then in Hartford City. Hope the Hoosier roads left your ride in one piece.
the shocks are pretty new but I think the old tintop lost a few pounds of rust back in Indiana :)

If you have plenty of space on an android phone, Doubletwist is a free app that plays MP3s. I used it all the time while commuting to work.

Hey William,
My F-150 leg wound is healing up pretty good. I've been without a bandage on it for a week now, and I can get my GL1100 up on the center-stand again, lol!
Hope you heal soon! Best Wished! -Graves-

Since it was the middle of my right shin, and not a joint, I was riding 2 days after the injury. I wasn't about to let any nice days go by without this summer. It hurt like hell for the 1st week, irritated me no end the second week. But it wasn't until this weekend I felt confident enough to put enough force on it to use the centerstand on the G-Wing or the S-Wing. I kept working on cars the whole time, but today is the 1st full-size pickup I haven taken in for service since that happened. Like the Goldwing, "standard" trucks are more than doubling in size, weight, and uselessness, lol!

Oooooopps! Didn't mean to imply the 1800 Wing was useless......got carried away ranting about "modern" pickup truck, forgive me Soichiro!

If that little woman ate all that BBQ, I am duly impressed and hanging up my napkin. I can't put it away like that anymore. (Well, I can put it away. Digesting it is another matter).
+1 :good:

she ate more ribs than I did but I ate more mac & cheese and really got full off of the mashed sweet potatoes, I only ate one bone from my rack of ribs
