I liked the 2 minutes of fame, only so much he can put in. He did a good job of presenting the GW as a viable alternative. Had a good day and discussed his career and what he has been doing. He mentioned that he and his wife like to do day trips but she is not too enthused with a sport bike, but she would definitely like to ride on my '85. We had a quick run on the highway, I shifted the 1500 at 5200 RPM, and he kept up. Asked him what he shifted at and it was in the 6500 RPM range. I mentioned at the start of the day that he should keep the engine RPMs above 2700 in the power band and he did. Told him he couldn't hurt it, that I've tried. He was suitably impressed.
