Is there a way to get air into the rear suspension when the pump isn't working? The pump will work for the fill hose, but won't work for the suspension. May be because my LCD only shows clock, no radio or air pressure.

I am in need of a headlight for a 79 GL1000 with the Vetter fairing. The glass broke so I only really need the bulb part. Maybe trade for brand new progressive shocks for an '83?? If not will pay cash.

Is there anything that commonly causes shifting troubles, I can get first and second, occasionalt third but thats it. I have a heel toe shifter, could it be just an adjustment? It doesent seem to spring back quite right. Are there springs inside the trans that break?

My 79 GL1000 has no 4 way flashers, seems it never did. It has signal lights, but I want to put in flashers. The traffic in Corpus Christi is nuts, need to be safe! What is the best way to do this, I think a flash unit and switch, but not sure how to make it work.

I notice when I open my tank to put in gas there is always a pressure release or a sucking, not positive which. Is the cap vented, and should it keep itself equalized with the outside air?

I have about a 20 mice commute to work. I drove the 79 in today and it seems to be getting hot. I included a picture of the temp gauge which is about the hottest it got. I thought I smelled anti freeze at one point, and I wonder if it is getting too hot, or is it normal?
