Gerry, that's simply gorgeous!!! I like the engine color, and all your polishing sure makes her shine! Congrats on a job well done - now enjoy the rewards of your labor!

I'm not sure about the blue lettering on the tire... :hihihi:

Very nice Gerry, I hope that you can find the time/funds to go on the mid west meet :good:

That will wear off in the high speed corners :smilie_happy:

I guess you'll eventually get to ride in the street...

:smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:...gerry it great work :good:

Thanks guys!! :thanks:

The pinstriping needs work again which I will get to later. It is easy enough to do and I still have rolls of that. Paint is on next years list.

Yeah...I know......I still haven't cleaned the tire off yet...too busy riding! :hihihi:

Turns out the coolant is OK! It was an air bubble that burped out overnight after the engine cooled. Now the temps are running normal!

Out on the road, this bike DANCES!!! It really is riding like a whole different machine! (I think it is because I changed the color of the engine, but who knows?) :smilie_happy:

The windshield installation took a little bit to get right. First ride on the highway was a bit buffeted! Pulled off, changed the angle back 3 degrees more and jumped back on the highway. 80 MPH and smooth as glass! There is just enough wind coming around the sides to keep me refreshed. Interestingly, there is wind coming under the front that causes a bit of buffeting that disappears when I put my feet up on the crash bars.

I might make one more adjustment to raise it a bit higher. The top is just at the top of my line of vision. Otherwise, I am really pleased!

Next up is the radio installation. Stay tuned!

Very nice Gerry!!!!

It dances because of the diet you put it on!
Your not kidding! (Putting myself on one too! Honda called and said the high speed wobble wasn't from the bike, it was from the center of gravity from the rider!) :smilie_happy:

Ummm......note to self........SELF.....when you change the expansion tank hoses with new hoses, be sure you route the correct hose to the correct fitting.....or.....you might have antifreeze flow out of your overflow tube EVERYTIME YOU STOP!!!!! :cheeky:

 :Awe:

Route the radiator hose to the overflow discharge and when the radiator pushes coolant back, it pressurizes the coolant tank and pushes coolant right out the other tube which is at the bottom of the tank.

Switched them back..after losing most of the coolant out of the expansion tank at this point. HEY, the good part is, my expansion tank coolant return lines and drain hose are fully flushed clean?? (Thats my story and I'm stickin with it!) :smilie_happy:

So that's where the term "stop leak" came from?!?!

Guess what......moving the hoses back to their correct connections has also stopped that higher temp reading I have been seeing. I assumed (wrongly) that the GM coolant was at fault. Turns out, the whole air bubble thing must be an ongoing issue when it purges but then sucks air back in! (Sometimes I REALLY feel stupid!)
