CGW Midwest MEET AUGUST 31st to Sept 2nd

Due to the weather forecast of rain all week-end I am cancelling my plans for the CGW Midwest Meet. Sorry I will miss this and all who attend but there will be other times.

Unfortunitly I am going to have to miss out also.
Between the daughters wedding and a hernia I need to get fixed this year I have been crunching the funds and hoarding my remaining vacation days.
I admit seeing the first bike arrive I am already jealous.
Hopefully this wont be the last.

It's going to be an adventure Angela, I shall get me a good rain coat tomorrow I have pants, it's our 25 year wedding anniversary so we shall enjoy each other tomorrow, If I go I will leave on thursday and take my time going up, I wanta say I rode through Hurricane Isaac to see Joe Drum....I bet I'm going to see alot of lightning... :shock: :shock: :Egyptian: Shoot I might just ride up wearing my swim suit... :shock: :smilie_happy:

Hey Joe, is that a Simplicity lawn tractor there, I have one all most just like it that I restored to new looking, the upper part on mine is a tan color but the rest is orange like that..???? Is it.. I mean I repainted everything and it turned out pretty sweet..Fun project..

I am not going to make this trip now, wife and daughter are freakin out, 2" to 6" of rain expected and I have no way of avoiding it...Crap...Yeh, they really don't want me to make the trip...Daughter's trying to get me to take her to the coast this weekend instead..FUDGE....Wife is worried, can't blame her..Maybe next time.. :Awe:
