Sure would, don't have one, or know how to post the pics, if i did. Not likely to acquire one, as am too sick to work my regular job, & am so broke i can't pay attention. Plus at my age seem to have a time keeping up with what needs done, trying to wear these wings out, & the shop almost always has a bike of mine or someone else's on it's table waiting for surgery of one sort or other, so looks like your S O L sorry, my wife says i'm a BRUTALLY honest person.

The terminals, & plugs arrived today, ordered on Sat morning @ about 11 am, from New Jersey. Pretty good response, & parts were what they are supposed to be. From Cycle Terminal, at cycleterminal.com, guys name is Joe.

Here's a pic of the pump, from the part number posted in the original post.

Can't find a pic of the #81245- 463- 770 anywhere....not even in the parts manual. :read: The part number is good, and I can find lots of places that list it, but none have actual pics of the dang thing. :Awe:

That is the pump. Its BIGGER around, you would have fashion a clamp. One fellow used a chrome muffler clamp, the hanger part was bent to fit the stock angle, to mount, it looked rather nice. :good: (not big on chrome) :nea: GROMET is what i should have said earlier, when trying to explaine about the lack of hardware. My vocabulary, spelling, as well as typing, computer skills, photography, & other niceties, are found to be less than they should be. :hihihi: Still the pump is Very Nice, & for the money even better. :yahoo:

Part# is not an issue. The gromet needs a piece of metal tubing to keep it from collapsing is all that is needed, any 3/8" O D piece of stout tubing will suffice.

Well people looks like these fuel pumps will bolt up to 83 1100 & work just well. :yahoo: All my chatter about isolating mount was not necessary, as long as body of the pump itself, is NEVER grounded, all is well. Both connectors to mount no conductivity, but either one to body & meter went to zero, looked closer, (got glasses) & saw pump has gaskets on both sides to isolate it. The 1100 is bolted down tight with a piece of rubber under just for good measure. Had to twist to side a bit to avoid the mount for old pump, kept tach drive by making a plate to cover where the old pump was mounted, piece of rubber sealed the opening from leaking. You will need the mounting plate for 1200 pump to bolt pump to, or fabricate one, but one from 1200 will bolt to motor in same spot, & play in mount on pump gives you room to shift & mount solidly. The real story is you have to wire it like a 1200, off of coil so kill switch stops current to the pumps relay. Its been brought to my attention that i need a bank angle sensor, or its not safe, like ALL Wings with electric pumps, have one????? NOT saying there is not one there, but not seen one on a 1200 with carb's yet, :whistling: have not worked on a fuel injected one, would like one those folks to explain to an ignorant old man WHERE its LOCATED!!! Or better yet show me a picture of a stock one. :hihihi:

I'm running mine without a bank sensor.
I have one from a 1200 but haven't connected it yet.
I think to work it mounts on the frame centerline?, forward of air filter is where I have it mounted.

If I was out in the desert and had no choice, then yes I would butcher something in to make it home, but I don't understand why people dont just buy new from honda, mine was 135.00 bucks for something that last 30 years is pretty cheap, 4.50 a year. It looks right, fits right and works right.
Just my opinion......

NOT A BANK ANGLE SENSOR :nea: !!!!!!! That is your TURN SIGNAL CANCEL SENSOR. :rtfm: :builder: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: To each his or her own, you buy stock parts when you can & have the cash to throw at a project. If you find stock no longer available at the dealer, the best CURRENT price on web is $150. You can buy TWO auto pumps that are made to work UNDER a car, in all temperatures, UNBELIEVABLE conditions, snow, ice, rain, etc for $50, that fit, & work well. YOU go ahead & buy a stock one from someone you never met, with no real guarantee, you have more SPARE money at your disposal than me!!!! :hihihi:

Wonder why? :headscratch: Maybe first ones were in 1500's & were a P O S, :hihihi: bypassed mine 24 years ago. Had a recall, but my problem, with a solution to a problem that never was, was all ready taken care of. :thank_you:

Safety switch controls on electric fuel pumps are to protect you in the case of an accident where fuel is continuing to pump everywhere when you can't turn the pump off!

While agree that is a prudent safety device. I found no mention of such a device in the 1200 manual. Almost every car on the roads today have electric fuel pumps. They are not equipped with a rollover switch. Makes me wonder if they are all that needed. Or if industry thinks a $3.00 switch is too much expense?

I know what its for!!! :hihihi: Not on any 1200's ive seen. :nea: The one on my 1500 & probably ANY safety switch, on any bike, or car for that matter, can be a real DANGER, as well as a good thing at some times. Was hit on my left saddle bag by a young kid switching lanes into mine, hit gas to get out of his way & get traction as was being shoved to the right. Bike was DEAD as a door nail, kid turned back to left, i coasted to side of the road, took me a few seconds to turn key off & back on so it would restart. Got cash to fix bike from his mom so we could leave the cops & insurance co out of it, as this was not first mishap he was involved in. Fixed bike, bypassed the bank angle sensor for good & all, then they had a recall. Never have taken any bike anywhere to have it worked on in my life, new or used, plus don't want or need it :Awe: !!! Take my chances on having time & presence of mind to hit kill switch. Was not hit all that hard, & hated the fact i couldn't escape what could have been an unpleasant situation.

I hope steve83 replies in this thread. He gave me a tip switch for a 1200 and he has another for me.
Where for sure it mounts, plugs in, or which model 1200 uses it I don't know.

Never have owned,or worked many wings, other than interstates, standard 1200's, & several 1100's as far as tearing into stator replacement, pulling off, & or apart rear, or front ends, fairings & the like, found all them to be about the same. Even the plumbers nightmare, the dreaded 1500, is pretty much the same, but that one has a B A S, which i would never disconnect on yours, or anybodies, for fear of being sued. Might show what was done to mine, but that's all, & not with anyone else around.
