Oh, yeah I found a 1800 one for about $40 used.
Actually the only reason I went with it was its capacity is same or larger than the original 83 with linked brakes. I tried one that was slightly smaller but didn't move enough fluid for the travel.

This one normally pushes a 2 piston caliper, so I am actually more worried it will be too sensitive, but I hardly use the rear anyways.

quite the incentive id say  where the hammer it will fit here ...just kidding :hihihi: im sure by your work it will be fitted nicely

Old crew chief saying...

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.

Old crew chief forgot part of the saying.
If it don't fit- force it.
If it still don't fit get a bigger hammer.
If the part breaks it was defective anyway.

The 1800 master is more sensitive and gives a higher pedal but it's better than the old one for sure, though I don't know what a perfect original is like, the 1800 gives a much better feel.

I don't know about crew chief, but my dad was a millwright and their saying was "don't force it, use a bigger hammer"! [emoji16]

Brakes are just added unnecessary weight

Other side of the road riding is a real trip, seeing oncoming car's come makes one start. :smilie_happy:

I have been so busy, I have had zero time to work on Aretha.

This weekend I will be fishing, but I am trying to plan a bike maintenance trip soon.
