well frame be gone ...i cut it out before i had to do other things that involved freezing me to the bone......the 1100 frame is no problem in this area ...camera to cold to work either no pics ...used a motor lift to lift bike enough to saw centerstand frame out ... came out nice left a big stub on both sides one accommodates brake lever spring the other is there for for the frame fix ...when done i will have access to clutch and all related ...

you can see the total access of the clutch area slave mounted and ready for fluid ..it was cold today so i stop here .....from here it pretty much plug and play after clutch is working ...the way the bike is lifted it the rear will go right on ...on the frame i have several ideas im thinking on to put cross member fixed and removable one

That's the way to do it Joe! Forget the bigger hammer, in Joe's doghouse......if it don't fit.....you get a bigger torch!!!! :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Yeeesh...
Joe....if ya need any timing belt covers, I'm sure someone here can help ya out.... :smilie_happy:
You can build ya a saddle type mounting to put the center stand back in...bolt on, bolt off. :builder:

yes joel the fix seems rather easy on the frame .... im thinking along those lines .....the timing covers joel was 1200 covers hit the frame and you would have to deal with that i decided to mod 1000 covers so they would work and not hit the frame ,,,came out good ....in fact ive had it running today with them on ...oh my joel it runs so good ....i also put the rear end on and all back together ...i finaly got it in nuetrual ...that was good ...started putting things back on but didnt get pass the front stand ...sheesh its a pain to put on ...it was cold ..i had tough it a long time so i quit ran it a bit and took couple pics

the bike is reving like a race engine thats all i can say ...im so pleased :yahoo:

im all dressed up and ready to work on the 1200 its cold ...i cant put it off any longer i have to fill the clutch up with fluid and bleed it ....after that its ready to roll on its own ....boy its been a long time ive been working off and on with this project ....this is best running wing at this point ive ever put together...its wont be long for full story on this bike ...i cant wait ...i hate brake fluid.... :cheeky: :builder:

we have clutch ... :yahoo: :yahoo: ...i managed not to get cover with the stuff  :yahoo: :yahoo: ....time to move to shaft mod ...im not sure what that is right now hmmmmm ....but right now its fixing to happen :headscratch: :builder:

okay im doing the driveshaft right now ....most people switch shafts here to the 1000-1100 final drive output shaft from 1200 outputshaft that has no snap ring to hold shaft on ...well ive never spent one second of time liking doing that job so ....im not going to do one thing to bring this burden on me ....im going to do something else like drill the shaft end and tap it for set screw or pin it ...by drilling output shaft some or all the way through and out the other side ...ive got it joint end about drilled through one side ...had to stop and resharpen bit ...going back out to go again today .....

well it could be going better ....just as i type this i had to get a couple cars up the froozen hill ....i done working on driveshaft today too ...just sucks here and my drill bit is toast and so is me sharpening it while shaking and freezing ...its really toast ....i almost got all the way through but no not yet
image.php

if you look at the rubber boot you will notice that it is folded inside out ...placed on the motor that way ...and in the grove on the motor where its suppose to be ...in the hopes that it will roll over nice all the way to the swingaem and pop right in the groove .... yah like that going to happen ...its my latest try at something thats i need to get better at :headscratch: you can see wher ive been drilling ...or was ...i can get right at it with a big powerful slow turning 1/2" drill ....need bits and some warmer weather
image.php

ahh pic of the front stand ..that took me hrs and hrs to put on ..im not sure why i was frooze ...totally confuse ...couldnt quit shaking ...quit went inside ...came back later put it right on no trouble at all ...one of those deals :thank_you:

i think today if i can stand it ill start tieing up the loose ends and mounting the relay all stuff loose ...its getting close but theres some work yet .....ill save the shaft work till i can refocas and gets some bits or whatever to put a hole in the joint sleeve....i keep thinking gun .... :hihihi:

as things go i had to go to town bought some bits ....its not working obviously the metal down a the spline level is hard ....so if anyone got a suggestion on how to bust through this ujoint end im all ears ....sheesh
