they are the front half of a set of jardines 4 into 2 exhast system ...the back half was trashed so scavenge the fronts ...there indivisual wing headers are two into one each side ...giving that sound you talk about .....but yes the motor plays the pipes and this player is strong

Made my day!! And I got a face to stick the name on. Looked a tad like Santa. Joe, I got you beat on the white hair. Thanks a million, Joe, Dan, and daughter. A merriest of Christmases to all.

jig saw with a trim like wood blade eric ...im awful good with tools ...i wouldnt think there many that could do that with jig saw withou lots of time in sawing stuff ...im like a precission machine tool holder with a brain its hard combo to beat .....not touting my horn just dont want everyone to try something so hard to do ....theres a lot of milage on the sawyer in that timing cover

oh and by the way i want to thank all on the coomments on the classic wing 1200 mod project it sure feels good to me me ...im giong to work on it some today after spilting wood for awhile

Joe

very important post today ...an unknown bit me hard today ...the slave clylinder i havnt put on the motor yet wont go with motor in frame   :Doh2: ....oh boy what a boooob...i check the 1200 manual and it is removable in 1200 bikes ...so this is unique to me and the 77 1200....so im going to cut it out for access to slave and clutch as an upgrade in a user friendly way ....so im kinda glad it happen that i left the slave out ....to fix this problem now

sheesh im going to get the clutch done i hope today :mrgreen:when conditions are right you can walk through woods and these trees rain on you constantly

sheesh ...the deal is clutch cover wont come off either ...looks like im going to cut it out now ...only problem is ...its holding the bike up now  :smilie_happy: so i need to prop it up some other way before cutting ....im okay with this ...once done it will be access to clutch and all there ....im rather good on structure integrety and this is not as crucial as it looks for strength ...its mostly beefy for the centerstand ...theres a cross frame piece right by the swingarm and theres also the motor mounting bolts there close too ...its not going anywhere if its removed ...and also can be fixed back out of the way ....sheesh big day today
