there is no snap ring groove ont the 1200 output shaft ...the only way to have one is change out output shafts ...and i didnt want motor and output shafts not going together ...its just having the right bit is all ...id already be done if i did ...im going to fix it good enough to test the bike ...and probably get the bit i need to finish it up when i can ...i dont like things set up so dumb as this is ,,,its the only thing that makes dropping the motor a big deal to me anymore ....ive got things moded elsewhere that motor removal is a easy proccess

well today and the rest of the week is suppose to warm up some ...and then really cold after that so ....im going to get in gear and try and get hooch ready and test run done ...before i have to wait another month or more ..... :builder:

ran hooch today it just keeps getting better....hes running in the pic ...everything is about hooked up ...all essential things are ...guys im not a mouthy build up me guy for the most part ....i let action speak for me ...because i have no choice here all i can say ...this is one of the best running bikes i ever heard in my life if not the best...the best bike i can relate too lately is the MIA vet bike i heard last yr that ny millionaire friend has ...i think it a suzuki big inline four done to the max motorwise and lookswise ...hooch runs every bit as good so far in my running of it ...i dont see how hooch do do anything less than be one of the fastest oldwings on the planet ...what an experience this is to live ...

on the downside ive not really confermed stator yet and that a little troublesome ...but if the stator is bad and i ended up with this great motor and built it into what it obviously is ..the stator is nothing to heartbreaking ...im glad i got it .....

:clapping: Fantastic Joe, you got every right to be proud of hooch. :builder: A long project nearing completion with hours of working in the heat and the cold on a belief that something already good could be made so much better thru creative ingenuity. Can't wait for the ride report. :good: :thanks:

Look at any plugs yet? I am lapping valves on mine. I had the heads planed a bit, but the guy who did it for me left too much where the top center bolt is and I have to remove that to make sure the torque is unhindered. I hope you get a chance to ride it soon. look forward to a report, but I have to admit I'm darn envious of anyone being able to ride in January.

sheesh eric how can milling the heads get you ...milling the heads again sheesh ....the ride will only be a test ...that it runs well and gose though gears and all ...to justify more work to be done ....like if stator bad or cosmetics ...exhast ...it runs so well eric im sure the plugs are perfect ....

shhheeeeehshshshshshsh woke up to rain this morning fat chance getting hooch to the gravel from the doghouse ....this will be a huge problem till i can afford gravel ....its just to incline in dry conditions its just no way when wet  :Awe: :fiddle: :crying: :hihihi:

hooch made it to the gravel ...no plywood no video dan :fiddle: hooch is powerful and low geared no clutch work to speak of to get going or gas as it needed none

nothing yet eric ive drilled to the hard metal is now have to get a coated demel tool bit to rock grind the rest of it ....im going to make a slip clamp from there ...im not going to try and explane that ...i have enough problems explaining simple stuff ...

sheeesh its raining ...im cleaning on hooch when it slacks and getting ready to test ride ...the roads are clear and the temps up so melt off will be total ....got some stuff to do today early hopefully when im back the rain will be gone and i can test ride hooch .....

Have a little "hootch" first, Joe....then the rain/snow won't matter...
