this is the adapter plate the screws to the 1200 head in ruff fit so far ...you can see how close it is from 1200 cap holes and the clearence to operate the 1000 ignition.....

i had to grind the whole lip down on the 1200 motor so the 1000 ignition would seat down far enough to engage the notch in the 1000 cam that is in the 1200 head once i get the camera thing down and uploding i will take the plate off so to see the grinding job that had to be done ...i have the fuel pump side done this far too

i have to get a 10mm tap to do the holes for actualy mounting the ignition and fuel pump

this is the fueul pump side the pump been fitted and reaches the operating cam i took the thick gasket out to get some depth in the head to reach the cam and will replace it with thin gaskets this will lessen the trickness of the plate to get good operation depth.....still didnt get the picture up like i want :cheeky: :crying: and after a three hr dan lesson on chat by dan i will get it darn this is tuff for me :heat: :rtfm: :read: :doh: :builder: :crying: :mrgreen: :whip: :hihihi:

ive got my taps ineed for the adapter plates for the 1000 ignitionand fuel pump monting and will be able to move forward again on this 1200 motor project ....pics coming soon... :mrgreen:

well im going to work on the 1200 today ive been to hardware store and got everything i need i think .....i sould have both ignition and fuel pump mounted today :mrgreen:

ignition is test fitted and looking good and all the clearence is there so ....so now all i have to do is do the fuel pump again :shock: it was to easy and i screwed it up :smilie_happy: :salute: :headscratch: :hihihi: :mrgreen:

im happy to annouce that the camera that dan sent as a gift has arrived.....so now all ive gotto do is figure it out ...im going to mess wth it some and take some pictures with it ...i need everybody to pull for me :whistling: :hihihi: :mrgreen:

That engine sure looks BIG in the last picture.

well i finaly decided to move the 1200 motor from the hoist and pyt the frame in there from the 79 mongrel ....i had let the frame rust pretty bad soo this is going to be quite a job to do .....i likr the hoist and the 55 gal drum as they can be used to lock the frame in the two plus everything is capture in the barrel with working on it .....seems to working rather good so far .... :shock:

as soon as the frame is ready this time i will paint it ...never got it the way i wanted it before and then got side tracked ....

the motor is basicly ready to install but i will probably do more cleaning and maybe painting to it too....

im not very good at picking colors and stuff as for frame plastics and stuff so ant advice will be greatly considered....its basicly a stock 79 1000 in looks with no emblems or decals ...i want a basicly naked oldwing with custom paint snaszier look seat could be solo like valkeri seat seat i seen here yesterday

iwill try and put some oics up on the frame cleans rig ...need to fined batteries for the camera...... :mrgreen:
