my customizing need to find a name

hi all, I will try to state what i did to my lady and what is planned.

it all started with tbe idea that i wanted something different using as less money as possible and to stay within the regulations that the german authorities lay upon us.
So i began to strip her down. I knew already what i wanted, i got rid of the original gauge cluster and bought a smaller speedo as well as a tiny temp gauge and some idiotlights....
next were a Frontfender off a sportster 883 and a rear fender off a fatboy, the handlebar is a fehling 97 cm dragbar risen by 50 mm to avoid faux tank denting...

That rear fender looks good. Just wait for the name... it will come to you and when you think of the right name, you will know it. I still call mine "The Bike" and I have had it for three years.

I still call mine The Bike too after 5 years or so.
No name has ever sounded right though as many mods I've tried out on her I should call her The Victim.

Just be sure the wife doesn't name it for you! Mine has named it "The Money Pit." I don't listen to her though.

I called my first Wing "Goldie Honda" (after Goldie Hawn), but never named the other 3. The '83 might be called "Crankenstein" - probably not...

I don't have a name for the Aspencade. It's bone stock, and doesn't care what I call it.

But the Naked bike has been modified a bit, and I like to call it....."ELMER" like in Fudd.

.... next i thought it would be funny to relocate the ignition lock.... so i did! ha, as if it was that easy.... that was when i met that monster named wiring harness.... i had to cut and reconnect ONE cable, or i could not relocate the lock.... but thats not all, i had to extend one cable, too. after doing so, i noticed that my new lamp was far too small to bear all the cable inside like the stock one, so i had to find a solution there..... just stuffed all the cable under the faux tank and just extended tge cables needed for headlight, turnsignal, idiotlights.... (took me 1 entire day). a friend of mine made me a piece of steel to mount my ignition.... great.... meanwhile and still i am thinking of what to do with the choke.... i ordered new shocks from hagon and hope they ride as good as they look. the rear fender was mounted properly by drilling two new holes into the frame. a few days ago i received my custom made cooler cover and mounted it. next thing is to build a new seatpan with fibreglass, my first time, hope it works. oh i forgot, new turnsignals are to be mounted, front leds and back turn, brake and running light combination in skull shape. new grips and mirrors are bought too....

Closest I come to naming a motorcycle is calling my V65 a scooter - guess i don't understand people trying to humanize machines.

Hi there sorry for not updating, but got Caught in work and stuff. Decided to call her el chusco for now (means mongrel in spanish;-)) thats what it looks like right now
