With both mufflers off the bike really drones in your head. My silencers that im gonna make will be the same specks as the harley mufflers that were on but without the extension pipe, plus i can make em fo free. I mocked up some stuff today and i think i will get the desired result. I can even make a small crossover pipe to help balance the engine out. This should be fun. I'll keep u posted on the progress and as usual u know i will have picks.

Thx guys. Do you think its worth the time to try n utilize the cross overs? Also, i guess i would have to omit the cross overs but i was thinking of kickin the exhaust up at an angle. Thoughts?

I don't like the unevenness of the sound without the crossovers and I also believe it helps with torque. If it makes for a cleaner upswept installation then go for it :good:

well on ny mod bike hooch there has never been a crossover used ..the jardine exhaust it had before did not have cross over and was made for a oldwing ....i certainly like the upswing on the exhaust i have now ... there are many that run witout them ..most the custom builds are done that way for exhaust routing ... dont have opinion on its effectiveness ...truely just dont know or have enough experience to to form one really ...if i like the exhaust id do it cross over or not

Thanks joe. I been riding this bike the past few days, weather been great, and this bike is so much fun to ride. I park it out front on my sidewalk when i get home and watch ppl slow down and look at it all evening. I know they. Are lookin for a for sale sign. This bike is hot. Cant wait for my new exhaust. Runnin one muffler on it now. Doesn't sound bad but its gonna be a lot better.

So i am going to have a custom Y pipe made up that will connect under the bike in front of the rear tire. I like the aggressive angle on the pipe as well. I think its gonna be cool. Tell me what u think guys.

Also, do yall do compression test with bike war, or cold? I thought warm but the air is real cool today and my results are ambiguous.
