my first post on this forum. what is the purpose of this subject ?
i would really like to upgrade my old ignition. just because it is old.
a first read of this subject here , the author asks for input... then it seems he has built one 2 years ago ?
and has no time to post any findings or even parts used such as the type of coils etc. ???
hopefully , we dont wait too long.
I like this guy! :smilie_happy:

Well here is my 2 cents on the matter.
I have ran Dyna pickups for they were installed on the bike. and I also head good things about there coils. Now after many years of the pickups being in the bike it had finally failed but intermitenly causing me to lose sleep on where the problem really was, was it the coils or was it the bla bla. For me when time permits I too will upgrade to the C5 system for the simple fact the coils don't need to be running all the time persay. But for now I will run my Accel coils they have WAY fatter spark. The Dyna coils IMO are NFG. I also bypassed the wiring harness with a relay tied into the power wire from the coil to the low side of relay new leads into the coils direct feed from the battery still under kill switch control. :whip:
