I got a two wire led flasher for my '78 off of eBay, so they're out there.

 dose anybody know anything about hyper flash with led turn signals ...since ive looked into flasher relays ..there is all this talk about hyper flash blinking to quick ...so i still wondering what to buy ..nothing local is adjustable and is double or more than ebay ...

on my bike the turn signals are led up front and regular in back ...if anybody knows anything here please post it ..i know nothing

I buy fixed rate flasher relays/cans from China Joe and they work well. You can also add resistors to the LED lights ( I had to do it on a Harley Road King on Friday) so that they now draw as much as an incandescent bulb.

I stick with incandescent bulbs in my bikes as I find most LED replacements aren't bright or large enough for me to warrant the conversion. As it is the flasher circuit the power savings don't seem that important as they don't operate for that long.

ok enough BS for me ...the led are not as good and i cant see spending more for something less ....so im going to mod regular turn signal lights as there the best .....just use the sockets from the vetter ....and mod them to the headlight where the leds were ....got one modded already...just have to get amber bulbs

now this is other side fits tight ....good mod ...so far ... :builder:

Glad you've got a better light source :good: never too much light at night! :nea: Light socket's are cheap, so always went to the auto part's store, anytime one was needed. :yes:Fixed a lot of turn signals this way, Harley's are a prime example, a dual element in front, single for the rear, just like a Wing :whistling:

i have got dual elements front and back ...just better lighting that way ....the front running lights shows up good from the side too ...so im quite pleased with it all ....

okay it became apparent on the road trip i made that the headlight wasnt strong enough to light the way good at night for me........seems the head light has the BA20D socket for bulb.....almost looks like a 1057 tail light bulb....these head light are mostly used on scooters......they are 35 watt sockets...light has 2 of them....im going to upgrade the bulbs that came with light as they were just 18 watt bulbs.....i found some decent upgrades.....will post the buy when i make it ....cant figure out adding things with this computer im on yet....

Doubling out put of the bulbs should double your visibility.
I have discovered over the years with the H4 headlamp/sealed beam replacements that the quality of the reflector and the lens glass and fluting make a huge difference to the quality of the light output and beam spread and cutoff. I prefer the Hella brand replacements that are no longer available except for second hand and new old stock. :(

ok ...as things go ..ive decided to go naked on hooch and remove the vetter....want to see if vetter has anything to do with front end wobble at high speed ...after talking with dan awhile it might be the biggest reason maybe ....so went to ebay they have very neat headlight set ups with turn signals in the bulbs themselves and at a price i can afford ...but they are led deals ...the rear of my bike is all stock honda and i dont want to change that .....

so here is example of light ....? is..... can i mix them led with old and how ...it says a risitor might be need to work ...i need someone who better than i what to do here or what not to do :thanks:

I bought one of these too.It hasnt got here yet.I hope when It comes you all tell me how to connect it.

hmmm im now upgrading mine cause the headlamp bulbs mine came with are only 18 watt BA20D bulbs....im getting some led 24 watt bulbs..... motor cooled . that will give me 48 watts of led headlight on hooch .....so im thinking ill have super lighting with this move :builder:

so here it is nov 19th and the lights from china finally showed up ..over a month late getting here ...wow they look great for led lights ...there fan cooled..... has the driver that is on a pigtail to keep its heat from the led bulbs ..make the unit shorter too...had all the hardware i needed to adapt to the ba20d socket...took me awhile to figure out how all the pieces actually go together easy.... after about 2 hrs inside the house with the headlight assembly with me to get the lights in the socket sheesh..... it went rough ...nothing got tore up ...the pieces were all plastic ...im glad there in ...be tomorrow before ill get it back on the bike ....so far everything looks great....
