In some ways Slab is correct as you don't see the side view. Although that is still a large car, it was not consider big by the day. It had a short trunk area. Caddies & Lincolns (even Olds) were longer that the Ford full size. Another favorite of mine is the 63 Bird & the 61 Caddy. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Just messin witchya V, I love the old boats.

My first car was a 1968 Olds Toronado. It had a hood the size of a football field because underneath it was a monster 455 with a front wheel drive transmission. That boat would pass everything but a gas station and it would die every time I hit a water puddle. I got rid of it and got a Suzuki GS550L in 1985... I wish I had that car back.

I had a 72 Caddy Coupe De Ville with a 472 CI.
Loved that car.
Silky smooth cruise at 90.

The 2 doors weighed more than most cars built today and that thing would flatten the bumps as you drove over them.

had a 72 tornado they even bigger than the 68s ... also had Lincoln mark 1V 1972 ... that car was the shit ... to me it was the fanciest 2 door coupe aircraft carrier ever made ....I laterally live out of the car ....mine was moded to posi traction and was no joke at the stop light .. fun car the 460 ci motor did well

Sorry did I get background/ foreground for my picture mixed up? Maybe I just managed to squeeze another gratuitous shot of the Rats Nest home.

The cx500c in picture I just did a quickie restore/ clean up on a couple years ago. I bought it in 1979 for my 21st birthday. I just sold it this last christmas to my daughter who gave it to her boyfriend, had she wanted it for herself I would have given it to her.

Gratuitous sekceeness will not be tolerated!

It said when you are not ON your wing. I don't see anyone ON that wing. It is therefore deemed window dressing for the cages.
