Just transfered Arkansas title.to my name,I was driving on my brothers plate.so all of it,for the first time was 173.00 ..at Sandusky license service.but it's in my name now..mad dog.no the baffle and inside is still inside.took 1 foot off to get oil soaked baffle pack out of exhaust.had to cut both sides to match..tom :rocks:

I fought with the ingnition housing cover bolts, adjusted the valve clearance, installed the cards and the fan shroud. I actually made some progress!

Now if the wife would only leave me alone for a bit tonight, I might be able to get some more things done to it. :head bang:

Rode mine around getting prices on two tires & alignment after doing the tie rod replacements on wife's car. Sort of a mixed day like to ride, hate to shop for prices, but. best way for best price is if you go around instead of call, talking to them seems to do better for me, as they soon find out I do my own work when ever possible & I'm a cheep S O B. But need tires & alignment & might be serious about buying.

Opened up the bowls on the 77. How long dose it take gas to do this?

Opened up the clogged fuel lines inside my gas tank...made a plumbers snake out of music wire and pushed it in while turning it with the cordless drill. It actually worked, I can get fuel through the lines now. Even opened up the screen on the end that was clogged with 10 years of dried gas. used 2 gallons of vinegar with it...soaked for a week.

:good: :clapping: :salute:

Rode the Rats Nest to work on a customers van and to pick up a soft pannier and rack for a CBR that I purchased for $30 aud. Can't beleive that it is a week since I have ridden, 200 miles to clock up for my next service which should be a valve set as well. That will be 32k on the clock missing about 6k from my ride in the states with a busted speedo cable.
I love my Vetter panniers even if the rack didn't quite fit in the top box :head bang:
Brackets in the rh side pannier
Soft pannier in the top Vetter pannier
Rack cable tied to the grab rail sitting on the pillion seat. Almost fitted in the top box but was about an 1" too long
Soft pannier on the CBRs(the Pig) current rack
Soft pannier with the extension unzipped to make it deeper
The rack slipped over its CBR mounting brackets but these could be easily modified to suit others

My best guess on that is about 3-4 years to get like that.

Can't say except too long without opening & draining at end of season, & you don't treat your fuel, it will evaporate & leave a residue.

Stumbled over to Motorcycle-superstore and found that they have free shipping on orders over $89. The rear tire has about 1,000 miles left on it, so I ordered a new front/rear tire and finally ordered that bag for my 1200.

Free shipping is good...

took the bags and the fairing off the 77. They need a home I'll list them someday. fairing is parts but the bags are good. Going to need 2 get the bracket that holds the front emblem backing plate. Put it on the porch rain is moving in now.

Finally decided after yesterday ride (and funds available) it was time for the new front tire. Even though there was still some signs of tread it was very slippery on the DD, it hadn't let me down on the road yet but I didn't want it too.
Not much tread left on the tire that Steve fitted up for my USA ride in August 2013. Unfortunately I don't have an accurate account of the mileage ( no speedo for approximately 6k miles in the States) on this Shinko A230 but the speedo is showing just under 32k which is probably 5k more than when I bought the Rats Nest. Definitely 10k plus miles at least and more than likely 11k plus
Rats Nest on the center stand with the front of the motor jacked up with the rear tire now on the ground allowing the front wheel to come off easily
New tire fitted up and also showing the new right angle valve stem
The Rats Nest dressed with its new Shinko A230 front tire

once I got home from henry's I took a nap, been sleeping very rough as well as not getting enough sleep. its been about 10 days since cataract surgery so I rode the 1500 wing the half mile to the dry cleaners to see if they could fix the zipper on my Wilson leather jacket. because of one of the snaps they couldn't fix the zipper. from there I rode another half mile so I could fill up the wing the I rode back to the house. the short ride gave me a chance to try out my new helmet

Added so oil, anti-freeze, and installed the exhaust. Then I heard the sweet sound of a purring GL1100. Tupperwear is all that is left to go then it is time for some throttle therapy.
