Ok now,
I'm going to have to swipe that. Throttle therapy, I like it.

Added so oil, anti-freeze, and installed the exhaust. Then I heard the sweet sound of a purring GL1100. Tupperwear is all that is left to go then it is time for some throttle therapy.

Looking real nice.

Yup thank you. The clear went on without any issues. I went ahead and pulled the trunk and trunk sides bag doors and recleared them while I had the gun out. I was going to do the covers on the false tank and the lower doors battery and gas tank. But with the emblems and all I didn't want to fool with it. So with the front fairing and the trunk bags etc I'd figure you wouldn't notice as much that they are done a a different time.

Don't do what I so often do after painting. I always end up scuffing something putting it back together.

You aren't the only one. :head bang:

yesterday morning I hit the road at 7:30, I was thinking about riding to Dalton, il. but unsure. it was either in the low 50's or high 40's, I didn't check the temp before leaving out. I took m-39 south then I-94 west, not much traffic on either expressway and 148 miles later I arrived in mattawan, mi. and refueled. I decided not to ride to Dalton even though I was about halfway there. I took I-94 east back to us-131 and kalamazoo, mi. then headed north to grand rapids, mi. there was a bit more traffic and the temp was climbing but still a nice ride so far. I took I-96 east and stopped at the Saranac rest area to take a break and eat some food I had taken with me, that killed about and hour. I kept going east on I-96 and traffic got heavy around lansing, mi. plus I had a gusty head wind. I stopped in Williamston, mi for fuel but the tanker was there refueling the station so I only put $5.00 worth in the tank before getting back on the road. I took us-23 south and exited at whitmore lake rd. to fill the tank. I took m-14 east and merged back on I-96 and made my way home . my first ride of 2015 was 370 miles
