Yesterday, I finally washed the turd. Today, it's spit-polish time, and then down the road to get some pics in the Texas Bluebonnets with it.

Joel, if you wash and shine it, you just will see all the spots that need to be repainted...
:smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:
I rode the Rats Nest on Saturday for a VJMC coffee at Springwood Suzuki. Decided to use some of the miracle waterless FW1 cleaning wax to make us look more presentable. Around the corner from home they are working on the road and unfortunately the water truck had just been through before us  At least it was good coffee and the new Shinko had the front end behaving beautifully :good: :moped:

Opened up the bowls on the 77. How long dose it take gas to do this?
file.php

Dang, I guess my carbs weren't that bad lol

Got busy today & changed the front tire on the 91, wouldn't hold any air & seat, valve stem leaking at the base. New valve with the 90 on it in stock of new parts, well it broke at the threads when trying to pull through the hole. Used plenty of tire lube to ease it through, :Awe: broke too easy, was a new Honda & not any more here, :head bang: tried a very short stem one, too long hits the wheel. Whose open at 9:40 P M Sun night to sell me one with a 90 or maybe a 45 on it???

Pulled the speedo cable out of the bottom end. Lubed it up with Cable Lube (Right stuff per local Honda shop) Put it all back together.
It would only howl on the early morning ride so got to wait until Tuesday commute.

The tip at bottom was a little galded and the cable has two shiny spots about an inch back from the end swedge.

Pulled the motor out of the 1200. I am not sure what is more depressing: that I can do it without reading how to do it, or do it from start to finish without a pit crew in less than 2 1/2 hours.

Oh and Gerry, there is a trick to that dang cir-clip - get a 1200! :cheeky: :cheeky: :smilie_happy:

Just got dun puttin new braking pads on the frunt. Bought 3 sets(2 frunt-1 rear) on fleabay for $8 each....and then $8.62 for shipping...each.... :Doh2: Well, actually, they DID give me free shipping on ONE set.... :whistling: :hihihi:
Still cheaper than getting them anywhere else. They're $25 a set normally.
