I bought a new ignition for it! :music:
Ignition switch, or system - as in a C5?

System, and I don't mean this C5.

I flew in one of those. Interesting experience I couldn't feel any forward motion and very little up and down. Kind of like a slow elevator ride.

You're one up on me I did drive under the wing of one when at Tinker AFB, OK while it was on a tac an circle... it was over the right side of the road.. (2 lanes) as it sat off on my left...

Patuxent River, MD to Munich Germany for me. Longest flight I have ever been on. Thankfully there were only 6 people in the seating section that was made for approx. 70 people so there was a lot of leg room and sleeping space was not a problem, but you are right. Even taxi-ing around you barely feel any motion.

I dropped it in a parking lot  ..Not sure what happened, I would like to say my foot hit oil but that wasnt the case..I was putting on my gloves and It just tipped a little to one side and I couldnt catch it. Of course it had to be a front row parking space so everyone in front of the store could see :smilie_happy:
No damage except a little prideache...Gotta love all those safety bars.

I finished round one of my winter projects on the 1100: forks, some long standing wiring issues, installed a trunk rack to the top of the trunk, trimmed my lowers to make them fit the 83 crash bars better, installed new light bulbs in the gauge cluster, installed a cluster hood, and changed the center cover of the cluster with the 80 parts bike I got.

I got it all back together and took it for a ride and everything works GREAT... but I remembered I forgot to change the brake pads on the front right side where the fork was leaking at. Stopping is a bit of a challenge.

+1 on the crash bars and damaged pride, can't always tell when your GW wants a nap!!
After chewing on it I realized what might have happened, The right side bag had 2 gallons of drinking water in it, Just did my shopping and didnt think it might offset the balance, Least it is the only reason I can think of..Never happened on any other bike but I have never owned a dresser.

Started tearing apart the 80 parts bike I picked up a few weeks ago. I pulled the carbs and found water in the head ports (that's what happens when a bike is exposed to the elements for too long without any air cleaner cover installed. I guess it is a good thing I am tearing this one apart. Now the bigger question: what are the carbs going to look like when I open them up.
