Went an visited Hanni again today. I was there Sunday and took some items to sell for her. I made a sale today and took her some cash. Her tractor was acting up again and I got it straightened out....ran it for awhile and got the grass in the lower part of the yard done....she didn't cut it the last time she mowed because the mower was acting up. I only had a couple of hours to spend but it was a pretty good day.....................

Pulled the bags and LH Rear shock on the GL1100 today. Yesterday's ride was saggy in the rear :cheeky: Ordered new spring set and seals this evening. May tear down 1 shock this weekend before parts arrive, but I have to make a shock compressor, yay :builder: Also rode the GL500I around a bit to get lunch and visit friend before it got stormy in the evening :moped:

Thanks Bib!! :thanks:

I went to HF yesterday and ONLY bought the one item that I went for (and picked up the free flashlight)! Never been able to do that before. Had to get a left side LED tail light for my HF trailer after some bozo hit it at the car show Saturday. Busted it good and bent it back against the frame. Hope it messed up his junker Fox body Mustang for him. He was gone by the time I went to get the truck and load.

Started assembling the parts needed to put an external alternator on the Aspencade trike. Have the 4" pulley and long crankshaft bolt, going to U-Pick tomorrow to get an Geo alternator. Will make the spacers and upper mount later this week.

Just completed the first day of a two day rider course. It rained the entire day. No lightning, so we rode.

It was a great day. Even if I didn’t have a single dry spot on me!!!

Where do you hail from, and how well did the ignition on the CB360 hold up in the rain? That is a true test of rider and bike, to both hold up in the soaking wet without misfiring, lol! :clapping:

I’m near St. Louis, MO

I didn’t use the 360 for this course. I’m riding a Yamaha TW200. It’s a basic riding course.

I plan to continue my motorcycle learning and am already looking forward to taking a more advanced course. There is one in particular that you do bring your own bike. Very similar to the basic course, just using your own ride. That would have been better, but never having taken a formal riding class, I didn’t really know what to expect.

I have no regrets. Here goes day two!!!
