Did a ride yesterday, probably around 55F when I started, cooled down after that. Got a little chilly, but it may have been due to keeping my rain liner in my jacket, and sweating when I slowed down to a crawl in a traffic jam.

On the way back though, I saw a typical summer cruiser rider, with a passenger just in a hoodie. She was obviously freezing. 50F at 65 MPH is pretty chilly. I didn't envy either of them. I don't think they even had a wind screen, now that I think about it.

Rode to the grocery store Sunday evening, cold and damp here in SW VA also. Now today is bright and Sunny, the weather hates me, lol!

Rode out to mail bills and get groceries. Not very exciting, but refreshing, at least. Hip hurt too much to ride the GL1100, so today it was on the GL500i One of the muffler baffler baffles is going bad/loud, so now it's not as stealthy as it used to be, lol!

the motor in the safari van gave up the ghost some time ago and now the frame is going bad on my club wagon so i left henry's after 4hrs to go see if i could find something i wanted to drive this winter. i drove the club wagon home and got the Mighty ST 1300 and rode out us-12 to check out a few dealerships. i stopped in Ypsilanti, MI for a few pic's then i rode to Ann Arbor before making it over to m-14 and heading home

I'm still hoping for at least one more Goldwing ride, but today in the auto, I slid across an overpass in the snow.

Ugh. So far, the weather isn't promising up here.

Fired up the wood stove for the first time this season.

Oh my! You may have to miniaturize some of those logs to fit! My father installed one of those that is the exact same color, only theirs is 2-3 times larger, and has the flu out the back. He now rests in a marble box on top of it, my mother's sense of humor/revenge, lol!

Yeah, I need to size all my wood to 15". I made a cradle with a guide for easy sizing. I end up with a boat-load of blocks. I wouldn't want a bigger stove, as this tiny thing will over heat the house above 40* outside temp. It also fits the room better aesthetically.

Daughter and I used the golf cart to pull a trailer around.
Lots of tree limbs on the ground, filled that trailer up 3 times, and lots more to go.

six acres of land here, 3 of it in trees, lots of annual maintenance like that.

Started the motor swap, putting a 851200cc in a 82 standard..

Is that an Astro Van? I also just noticed you have a 450 Nighthawk in your bike list. I really like the Nighthawk series, too!

the motor in my safari van gave up the ghost earlier this year so it got scrapped and the nighthawk 450 got crushed by my neighbors tree when it fell so i only have a few parts left of it
