I live in the Greater Vancouver Regional District and we pay right now $1.25/ltr but just 15 minutes easti abbotsford I could get it for 0.10 cheaper all because of Tranlink( our belovid :cheeky: transit system), we have extra taxe :beg: :beg: :beg: :Awe: :Awe: s,tolls etc.

I don't drink it and I don't burn It so I don't care about the price of milk :smilie_happy: I don't drink gas :smilie_happy: but i do burn it so I think the price is out of line. I think that the producers are withholding the supply in order to keep the prices up. and I think the more the feds force the auto makers to increase MPG the higher gas prices are going to go. Think about the economics of this.....If you make $100,000 a month by selling 100,000 gal of gas and all of a sudden you are looking at only selling 50,000 gal, you are going to charge twice as much to keep the same level of income :doh: :doh: :doh: Check your utilitie bills. What little 'milk' I use is only for cereal and since I use either rice, soy or almond milk it is even more expensive....glad I don't use much.
On another note I find that a small container of 'Better than Milk' soy powder is perfect for touring and using in my granola or oatmeal in the AM. It mixes way easier than powdered milk and I never use refrigeration or ice when traveling so it works perfect for me.....a 22 oz can lasts for a year or two....

our fuel is taxed twice one called Fuel Duty then another called VAT so we get ripped twice lol

I'd be interested in knowing the prices of gas as compared to the minimum hourly wage in other countries.

something like
gas average 3.50 a gallon and minimum wage 7.25 equals roughly 2 gallons per hour.

the minimum wage in the Uk is £6.08 a hour the price of gas is £6.90 a gallon

Just saw on the news today that because of the potential blockade by Iran, we will see $5.00 per gallon by spring.......................This time last year, I heard that because of the financial crisis, we would have $5.00 per gallon gas by spring............... :shock:

What is it with December end of month news that we are warned every year that the most recent crisis is gonna produce $5.00 per gallon gas in the spring?????

Seems like it is more of a target than a reality! :help: :help: :evil:

theres nothing that makes the gas price go up but greed ...if they staged a mock navel display ....the cost of the theater and loos of life will be added to the people debt and five dollar gas will be here just waiting for 10 dollar gas to arrive ....idont fall for the blatant lies that are passed off as truth ....no way couple days or weeks of angry boats shooting at one another can cause this kind of cost increase...its just another move by gov to poor down the people ...its amazing how gulibal we are about being screwed by the gov thats suppose to serve the people not distroy them....

Kind of sux.......last time gas was $4.00 a gallon the price per barrell was $150.00
Now its $107.00 per barrell. Whos getting rich?. :rant: :sensored:

$3.85 here today. Weather is warming up here. Helix is going to be very valuable scoot this year!

It was mentioned on the news tonight that gas was $1.84 a gallon on January 20,2009 :Egyptian: I recall when I was riding the Wing on month long tours in the '90s gas was under a dollar a gallon . I could ride 7,500 miles , stay in hotels and eat for a month for about $1,800 total :moped: Let's hope it does not hit $5.00 :crying: The country will grind to a halt :shock:

i say we put the price of wheat ,potatos and any other food we send to the oil producers the same price as a barrel of oil. if they don't like it let them eat thier oil..3.54 here still
