Was that a big deal to do? And looking at the space between the tire an fork don't look like you could run a stock finder. Or can you?

well for me it wasnt to bad ...but im very good with my hands ...and most would have trouble ...dang near art work ..getting all that tweaked just right ..no stock fender will not work ...i couldnt make that i got any bigger ...it is bare of structure ...just drew a line and sawed it out ...even plastic around the fork had to be cut out to clear wheel....

yes it is 1200 in in there

Man I tell you. That's real modded up. I bet that handles well not like a forks turning a wheel but the other way around. Nice job joe.

I did something similar to what Joe did on one of my mirrors but I drilled an tapped the hole for a long machine screw....held tight all last summer.

Joe: do you get a lot better airflow with the pop-out vents removed? I'm cutting down my old windshield for summer and was thinking of putting a pop-out vent or two in it....maybe I'll just cut some holes. (I saved the pop-outs and lowers when the guy i sold my BMW to was throwing out the fairing)

A BROTHERS REQUEST... my brother, bought theses bags off flea-bay.well he never got well, enough to put them on. :sensored: cancer..so this is what he wanted done. :builder: .there are some mods to put rear bags on a standard.first you have to cut off the spacer,on the 12 pack rack.longer bolts, then off-set brackets to mount on bottom, and side of trunks.plus :moped: removal of rear turn signals.the others are in bags..rip.jr...me.. :salute: :music: yes,i took off the mud flaps.i think it looks ,better. :music:time to ride..

I had them in mine I really didn't feel the difference to tell you the truth. I run a shield without them and it's the same. So cosmetic IMO..

Sanded the fairing down there was a chip in it I didn't want to use spot puddy so I just hit it with 120 and a DA sander knocked off the bad spot and knocked off the clear coat. Going to respray it along with the lowers all at once. The trim that go's around the fairing rubber chrome stuff. Dose anybody know where to get this stuff I just don't see paying all that money at the Vetter store for small pieces. I want to replace it at a loss on what you would call that stuff or where to get it bt the role..
