Now you just have to keep the rider from matching the bike. :smilie_happy:

Thank you.

I had to remove all of the tape and the 33 year old adhesive honey like substance that was coating the wires. An alcohol soaked rag did the trick. I am going to try and route all of the wires and get all of the big electronic pieces in and able to fit under the new false tank. By the way this bike is one year older than I am.

okay I was wondering where all this energy was coming from. That explains a lot! My get up and go got up and left a long time ago. :hihihi:

well test rode the big dog hooch with the 1100 final in it ...i had to adjust tracking some ...on 1000 frames you can ..once that was done ...sheesh what a ride ...truely a no bling speed monster .. tracking is nice and when it breaks loose in second has a nice side to side wiggle easy to stay on top of ... instead of the one way swing around it was doing with stock 1000 final ....much faster it seems also ..but also more controllable....great ride going for another ...first great day here

Well....I bent #4 intake valve and who know what else a little while ago. I thought I was being real careful pulling the carbs but apparently not careful enough. A screw trapped itself between the valve and seat. Now to pull the head and see what other damage there is......

I like the color combo so far, what is wire loom material?

Thank you everyone.

Its cheap eBay wiring conduit. It seemed to hold up on my car so I'm trying it out on the bike too.

Took the carbs off this evening....I'm planning to get the head off this weekend (if not sooner) and see just how much damage there is.

What happened?

I managed to let a screw drop into one of the intake ports and when I got the carbs back on and fired it up I bent an intake valve
