That is what it looks like, I guess I'll continue with my plan to replace the socket with a usb port.

My theory is you have a cig style sockets ( the ones I use are Sutar marine sockets) if your usb charger/ temp gauge etc fails you just plug in another one

I was gonna do that too but a cat sprayed my cover and didn't want to touch it till the disinfectant worked and dried.

So Dan you are using the solx carburetor. Is this one better to dial in over the Stovenbolt carburetor? I really like the throttle response that it produces. What carburetor are you running on this machine you side you are using the plenum from the VW. could you elaborate on this a bit or maybe in a message..?

Well I didn't do any thing, but I did buy some great parts for her and the upcoming rebuild, these are all used item but look brand new all prices in English pounds. I got a the false tank frame 25, Heat shield and electric fan shroud 10, gas tank clean inside and solid outside, no rust 25, another swing arm 10, two heads and covers with some water cooling pipes and housings 10 and finally 2 brand new air fairings on the sides of the radiator in blue, still in paper and plastic Honda bag, 20. This guy had about 4 bikes worth of stuff, all have been plastic coated, old name for powder coat, it is quality coating. it will be a shame to take it off and have it re coated in my new frame colour.

But hey needs must.....

Cleaned bugs & dust off

Started back up working on the 91's tires, brake, clutch fluid, pads, etc, was warm enough to work, & not be cold. Got warm enough after cleaning up the area a bit, & pulling off bags, laid down tools, washed hands & out to play for a couple of hours. :good: Great thing about old scooters like these, most people want what's new, over what works, & are not interested in working & fixing the old boring stuff of yesteryear. So you can get & fix an old bike, for less than a good down payment on a new one, & have more than one to ride. Insurance is reasonable with liability less than, $2.25 per bike per month, & historical plates, expire on your 100th birthday, cost less than a year of regular plates that expire every year. So I insure 4 wings all year for less than $120 a year, + $50 for my 91, this is its last year, as its 25 years old next year. arty: one of my buddies pays WAY MORE for ins, on his one newer wing, & says after 70 if you get a speeding ticket they treat you like a teenager as far as price for your ins. :cheeky: Rather buy parts, & fix em, over ins, & payments. :yahoo:

Success! It's a big deal for me when I can fix something w/o Georges help. The unit is 3/4 concealed under the trunk when the seat is removed. Luckily I was able to unbolt the trunk and move it over just enough to pull the unit out and replace it(This is a big deal because of the 3" set back which makes the sidebag cables a bitch to reconnect if unhooked).

I have programmed a special curve into the C5 I can switch to with it.
Off is set to the stock curve, on is the modded curve.
