Put the Vetter fairing back on AGAIN while waiting on parts to convert back to Standard! Forced me to take a 200 mile ride through South Jersey. :whip:

Within 3 hours and 200 miles I get to ride through rich farmland (and that rich farmland smell of cow manure), thick NJ forest, flat open country roads, mild hills and twisties, salt marsh and the Delaware Bay and the southern most tip of New Jersey at Cape May Point and the Atlantic ocean!

One thing I learned, riding without my radio is not an option. This trip I had taken the radio Cycle Sound unit off the Vetter fairing to fit up for the Standard conversion. I need my tunes.......

Changed my mind on the motor and decided I am pulling the rear case to clean/paint it right, so I ordered more gaskets and seals. I think I am moving up on Western Honda's favorite list.

Dropped the battery off to the PO of the Aspy. Finally checked the vin plate and it just got 2 years younger. She's an 86..

Took a quick trip down the Pacific Hwy to Bangalow and then a leisurely trip home via the twisty bits
Stopped for a quick beer at the Tyalgum Hotel and then a great ride back through Numinbah :salute: :moped: :good:

That looks like fun!

It definitely was Brian. The Rats Nest was lots of fun and we hadn't ridden anything similar since riding in Colorado, just a lot less elevation.

NICE!...Need to find me a little around town bike.

Picked up where I left off over the weekend... cleaned the engine and painted the rear case. By the time the gaskets get here, I should be ready to put everything back together again.

Sanded, repaired a corner, primed the left rear bag lid off Trailer Trash so I could paint it tomorrow. Got to look spiffy for the We Ride America Meet Greet in two weeks. All I got left to do is change the oil.
