This may be obvious, but have you checked/reolaced the flasher?

1100: Parts arrived so I replaced the transmission front cover with the one from my parts motor and put the rear case back on. Cleaning/painting is done so now I can move on to installing the C5... That might pick up again on Friday, but I have to run to New York to get some more parts!!!

1200: Backed it out of the garage and rode it back into the garage when I was done.

Emergency flash has the biggest load on the flasher to get it working. I'd try another flasher even if emergency flash does work. On many of my older cars they had seperate flashers for emergency and turn. Switching them often fixed the lighting.

Just won a set of chrome horns, a "HONDA" emblem for the front end, and a set of chrome radiator air deflectors on Ebay! Woo-hoo! All I need now is a Standard grab rail...
:good: :clapping: :yahoo:

I don't blame you! I enjoyed it while it was here.

I just bought a headlight bucket (forgot to mention it earlier) for the '83. It's a new, aftermarket part, but it looks like OEM. We shall see...

Will check it today Steve, but if the emergency flashers work, the flasher should be ok, right ? Could be the cancel unit went out, cause all bulbs flash.

As was mentioned cars have separate type flashers and so does bikes... the turn signal flasher is in the power line to the switch.. 2 wires.. when grounded (activated) the flasher begins to open and close... the emergency flasher is after the switch to split the power to both sides at once.. has three wires.. power in and signal out to both sides.. using this setup will verify bulbs are operating when activated...

Signal lights working great now, ended up being the switch on the bar, but I found the foot brake switch was sticking so I'll replace it tomorrow. Both flashers were good. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Trying to get a bunch of little things done before I head out next week.
