Just won a set of chrome horns, a "HONDA" emblem for the front end, and a set of chrome radiator air deflectors on Ebay! Woo-hoo! All I need now is a Standard grab rail...
You'll have to be very patient on the grab rail - then jump when you find one! I bought a rusty, painted one but that will work great for my project. The prices I've seen on some indicate it cheaper to buy a wrecked bike.

I adjusted the points after my carb rebuild. Was able to ride the bike for the first time since I bought it. What a sense of pride when you do it yourself. Im really diggin on these old bikes.

rode to henry's this morning, it was kinda cool at 39*
left henry's at 3:50 and headed to the dry cleaners. i dropped my summer riding pants off to have the zipper replaced then went next door and got three slices of pizza before heading home, its still on the cool side at 53*

No, it was the 76. I bought the 76, a week later i bought the 75. 75 runs great but is not in as good a condition. The 76 is now running and is in pretty nice condition. I got the 76 for $750. Great deal.

Wow Brian that looks great, like new!! Wish mine looked half that nice

Thanks guys... It's not done yet, but I can see where it is going. C5 install tomorrow, then the belts, valve adjustments, button everything up and then stuff the motor so I can then do some work on the carbs.

Won a nice lookin' Standard grab bar on Ebay, and it was pretty cheap! I hope it's not one of those "too good to be true" deals. The pictures weren't great, but I can't see any rust. We shall see...

No key for the helmet lock, so it's coming off.

Drove to New York to meet Fordsman to pick up a Honda-line fairing from his 82. In the process, I also got a trunk, floorboards, light bar and a few other things all for the price of a drive through the country. Thanks again Ron!!!
