Was browsing the local neighborhood group and some guy posted he couldn't get the carbs off his motorcycle because of stripped bolts.

Went over and helped him out - turned out to be a teen with an early 80s Suzuki four cylinder - the typical universal Japanese motorcycle setup.

Got the stripped bolts out for him, so that was my good deed.

i bought a cardo packtalk bold last year and blue toothed it to an old samsung galaxy s5 that i had so i could have some riding music. when i met up with the group saturday i noticed the pocket that i usually put the phone in was wide open, i thought i lost the phone. sunday morning i took the zumo 660 off of the Mighty ST 1300 and linked it to the cardo unit, i had an SD card with the same music that was on the phone so now i have music and GPS directions. well i found the phone sitting inside my shoei helmet, i wore the bell helmet saturday :)

Sold the Interstate, sad to see it go. It is a great bike in good condition. Still have the Aspencade which also is a great bike. Time to let some things go and concentrate on the remaining ones.

put some GL 1800 foot pegs on the Mighty ST 1300 then took a short ride to test them out. now i'm looking for a set of 1800 pegs for my ST1100

Last ride on the Slug before she goes to her new owner Wednesday. Bittersweet. The old girl has never been in better shape and runs like a clock. I am going to miss that old girl. She has served our family well. :Egyptian:

Installed the carbs on the 81 and the bike fired right up, so I must have done something right... then the number three started to leak, so I have have done something wrong. Guess I'll be pulling them back out to fix whatever I did wrong. :head bang:

my nephew jerry called and asked if i could bring my mower over so he could cut his grass. once home from henry's i had a snack then got the mower, a helmet, jacket, boots, and gloves loaded in my tintop then made the drive over to jerry's house. i helped him unload the mower then got geared up and took a short ride on my GSA

Went looking for one of our missing workers. Almost turned to a search and rescue on our minesite... Helps if the room he was listed in was correct...!!

Rassled "The Turd" off the deck and down the road for the annual State Inspection. First time it's been ridden since I cleaned the carbs last time. I been starting it every weekend, and have had no problems at all since I committed to doing that. Ran fine, but is still a dump truck compared to the 1500... :hihihi:

Worked yesterday from 7-4 with a couple hour break in there somewhere.

Our 29th wedding anniversary today. Ran a couple errands. Lowe’s for a new garden hose and adjustable nozzle. She likes to water the plants by hand so…
We have an over night and dinner cruise planned in San Diego.
Pet smart returns. Big pillow the dog doesn’t like and dog crate too big for the room.
