I left henry's early yesterday to go get an MRI done on my foot, today I was back at medical for the results. the good news is that I didn't break my foot again, the bad news is that I have a fluid build up in two different places and three maybe four pulled or detached tendons

Do you need surgery?

I won't know until tomorrow, they are sending me to another specialist but i'm not letting him do the surgery

That is tough William. I am still recovering from my rotator cuff injury but at least it is back to about 80% and I can ride ( taken the Rats Nest out 3 times now, still haven’t got back onto Val as the DD is a bit smashed from the last rain storm ( almost an inch in half an hour)) but it is really easy to aggravate it with use. Hope that you can rest it enough to expedite your recovery. :beg:

I'm watching the snow fall now. Seems too early for it to stick - this will be our second snow fall of the year. Also got the go-ahead to build the retaining wall, so I need to do a little more excavating.

Got the Battery Tender Jrs today. Gotta wire up the Ninja my wife bought this year. Debating if I want to change the connection on the Goldwing. On my CM400, I wired the hot to the battery side of the starter relay, and the ground to a frame bolt. Makes it easier to fiddle with the battery. I even added a SAE 2-wire extension under the gas tank to move the hookup near my handlebars, since I have a SAE to USB adapter for the phone on that bike.

The Goldwing came with a hookup directly on the battery, behind the left side cover. I'll look at it this weekend and see if I want to move it somewhere else. Maybe I could wire it so it is within the false tank.

Brrrr. I can do without the white stuff. The blade is mounted on the JD more as an insurance policy. Connectors on all of the bikes and the emergency generator. The one on the GL1800 goes to an Electrical Connection power plate connection that comes off the NC connection of a relay that is switched by key ON power. So it disconnects when the key is turned on preventing accidental start while tender connected and charging. I have heated gear connector powered from the NO so it won't draw on battery with key off.

Done all the digging that I'm going to do before ordering the base material.

By my calculations, I think I excavated and removed around 10 tons of material. By hand. I'm not that smart, apparently. Dedicated, but not smart.

And the weather gods are still not smiling for next week. High on Thursday is 27 degrees. Monday is 17 degrees - well over 20 degrees below the average high.

Impressive...using your hands is not dumb ...I’ve seen so many times people do things that costs them greatly thinking there smart and in the end the job is not as good and super costly ...the pic shows the work is perfect example of not over done and intrusion of surrounding area ...

Started painting the walls in my shed, its almost ready!!!

Gotta love those LED headlights. And painting the interior of sheds and garages light colors.

Been sick today. Was going to order some fill, but I'll end up doing that tomorrow. Gotta dig some old tarps out of the garage to cover the fill so it doesn't collect moisture and freeze with our cold spell.

Truck looks good.

Ordered the recycled class 5 today, they managed to deliver it within the hour. Unfortunately they couldn't get the truck in the yard, nor were they able to get the truck even in the driveway all the way. Managed to dump about three tons in the alley, and the other five tons in the driveway, partially blocking in my neighbor's entry into his garage.

Managed to get it all moved by hand.

Just kept singing this to myself.

Did manage to plug the Goldwing into the battery tender. Yay!

Next year plan on building a 50x25 garage with parking for my fleet of vehicle, the initial stuff I will be doing is by hand... Do not look forward to that chore... I hope you legs, feet and hands recover quickly!
